In the spirit of giving and continuing the tradition of “doing the right thing” Shea Homes is once again participating in HomeAid’s Project Playhouse with a charming holiday celebration of home. This playhouse mirrors the Parker family home from the beloved 1983 Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. classic “A Christmas Story.” With the studio's permission the building and design team have combed the treasured film for authentic details from Ralphie’s Red Ryder BB Gun to the memorable “Leg Lamp.”

Potential bidders will be reminded of when Christmas wishes magically came true and close-knit family ties were the center of the holiday celebration. Youngsters will be inspired to create new adventures as they bring their own imaginations “home” to their own special domain.

Capturing the small town charm of the movie’s residence this playhouse is festooned with lights to create the tallest and brightest of the Project Playhouse line-up with the goal of raising much needed funds for HomeAid Orange County and homeless families in our community.
